  • 1 cup whole milk or milk alternative
  • 1 tbsp honey or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract optional

Notes

Hua Juan tea can be found at Asian specialty stores or online. For a vegan version, use oat or almond milk and maple syrup instead of honey. The tea can be steeped up to 2 hours ahead and reheated gently before adding milk. Store leftover tea leaves in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
