Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries (frozen) blend of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt use full-fat for creaminess
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or any plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp elderflower syrup ensure it's non-alcoholic
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice about half a lemon
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for extra sweetness
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes optional for thicker texture
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves for garnish, optional

Notes

Storage: Best consumed fresh. If storing, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours; shake well before serving as separation may occur. Make-Ahead: Prepare the smoothie base (all ingredients except ice) and store in the refrigerator for up to 12 hours. Blend with ice just before serving. Substitutions: Use coconut yogurt for a dairy-free option. Replace elderflower syrup with a splash of elderflower liqueur (non-alcoholic version) or omit for a simpler lemon berry smoothie. Serving Suggestions: Top with chia seeds or a sprinkle of granola for added texture. Serve as a light dessert or post-workout drink.
