Notes

Storage: Store cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days. Bring to room temperature before serving for best flavor. Make-Ahead: Bake cupcakes up to 2 days in advance and frost the day of serving. The batter can also be made ahead and refrigerated for 24 hours. Variations: Add 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or a dash of cinnamon to the batter for extra texture and spice. For a non-alcoholic version, ensure your eggnog is store-bought and alcohol-free. Serve these cupcakes as a festive dessert at holiday parties or as a sweet treat with coffee.
