  • 1 tbsp roasted chicory root powder pure and caffeine-free
  • 1 frozen banana banana sliced for easier blending
  • 0.5 medium avocado pitted and peeled
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds for added omega-3s
  • 1 tsp honey optional, or maple syrup for vegan
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract pure extract
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes optional for extra chill

Notes

To make this ahead, blend everything except the ice and store in an airtight mason jar for up to 24 hours; shake well before drinking. If you find chicory root too bitter, start with 1/2 tablespoon and gradually increase. For a protein boost, add a scoop of vanilla collagen or pea protein powder.
